Arrival in HCMC

After 6 long months and a very gruelling travel day, here we are. Our team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday at around 11:00 am local time, which is Friday here. After a 28 hour travel day, we arrived at our hotel to drop off our bags for a quick stop, then off to start our Vietnam "City" experience. We left the hotel and went straight to a popular Pho restaurant called Pho 24. Pho is a meaty based broth soup, and this restaurant was very popular, along with amazing food as agreed to by everyone. After lunch the team went to meet the Canadian Consolate to Vietnam, where they gave us an official welcome, then to the market.... More to come.
